A lil something from the late Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.

Since we were talking about Rev King at the last PCG...

Beat us and leave us half dead and we will still love you. But be ye assured that we will wear you down by our capacity to suffer. I like this cos it reminds us that in whatever evangelistic and social action God has called us to, He has called us not so much to win arguments or achieve causes, but to live in love and let His love transform the world. That is displaying the true victory which was already accomplished over a dark Friday afternoon and a bright Sunday morning long ago..
